These pin backs have a spring loaded "top hat". To use, put on the backside of your pin post like you would normally. To remove, pull the top hat and pull the pin on the other side in the opposite direction. The pin back will not release itself unless you engage the spring loaded mechanism by pulling on the top hat.Ê
