Shipping Policy

Estimated shipping delivery times:

USA: 3-5 business days
Canada: 5-10 business days
World: 10-20 business days

Many times its much faster than that, but for international orders, once it leaves the U.S., I have zero control over the speed in which your country's postal service delivers your mail

Your order will be sent out on average within 3 business days of ordering.

International shipping:

International shipments may incur customs fees. For each country the customs policy is different, and the fee is usually based on a variety of factors like weight, value, and size.

We do not take responsibility for customs fees.

Order never arrived:

If your order didn't end up arriving, be sure to let us know!

First check your shipping confirmation and check that you had entered the correct address. If the address was incorrect, though we'd be happy to send you another order to the correct address, it will have to be at your cost.

If the shipping address was correct, get in touch with us at [insert support email here] noting your order number. We'll see what can be done.

International orders sometimes take time and depending on the customs within your own country, may sit in customs longer than expected! Some countries, such as Brazil, it is not uncommon for packages to sit in customs for over a month before it is delivered to you! Please be patient!

Returns policy

Damaged items:

The last thing we want is for you to be stuck with a damaged item. If it arrives to you damaged, then please get in touch with us within a week's time!

Wrong size:

Returns and refunds are not given for buyers remorse. For vintage items, I do a very careful job of stating the accurate measurements. Please make sure you are referring your own CURRENT measurements against the listed measurements of the garment (not what your measurements were 10 years ago or what you "think" your measurements are). Vintage garments are not sized the same way as modern garments (which is true for men's, women's, or children's clothing). If you wear a modern size 12, you most likely will not fit into a vintage size 12 dress or pair of pants. Always cross reference your current measurements against the stated measurements of the garment!

Print on demand orders fulfilled by one of two of my manufacturing partners that handle my made to order garments, refunds are given if there is an actual defect in the garment, not because you didn't like the color, or the garment doesn't fit you right. Garments fit and size will vary from garment to garment so PLEASE check the measurements for EACH garment you are looking at. Size charts are posted for each garment style. Some garments that are made from stretch fabric will have more give to them than a 100% cotton teeshirt that is more true to size. Unisex styles will not be as "fitted" through the waist or bust like a women's style shirt. A size "Medium" may not fit the same for each garment.

If the garment you receive has construction issues, or is sewn poorly (its rare, but human error does occur), please let me know and I'll try to get it sorted for you.

Sales tax/Customs:

Sales from this website made from IL are subject to be charged IL sales tax, as required by law.

For buyers outside of the United States, Mixtape Your Life, LLC is NOT responsible for fees that may be required by customs in your country; all customs fees are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and it is against the law for Mixtape Your Life, LLC to pay these customs fees on the buyers behalf. International buyers assume responsibility for being aware of customs fees that may be added to goods that enter the country.
