Do you offer custom work? I would like a custom pair of earrings! Can you do that?
Yes! I am definitely able to do custom work! Send me an email or a direct message on my social media accounts to discuss what may be possible! No project is the same, so the costs will vary greatly from project to project depending on complexity, the amount of time necessary to design your project, cost of materials and assorted other expenses needed to bring your project to a reality. My hourly rate for design services is $30/hr and the amount of time required to design something from scratch is varied. A typical pair of custom designed earrings similar to the larger earrings I offer would range between $40-100 on average.
What are your earrings posts made out of? I am very allergic to many types of metals!
All of the stud earrings that use posts are Stainless Steel, any silver toned french earring wires are also Stainless Steel and any of the french hooks that are colored (gold tone, pink, blue, etc) are electro coated brass.
I can certainly empathize as I have a severe allergy to nickel! I can say that I wear all of the jewelry that I make and personally have never had an issue, however, because there may be trace amounts of particular metals in alloys used for jewelry findings, and because different people are reactive to different things, I do not use the words "hypoallergic" on any of my product listings or packaging, as that infers a guarantee of not being reactive, which I can't give.
If you are interested in a particular pair of earrings but need a specific type of metal such as 14k gold, sterling silver, etc, send me an email to inquire! While these types of findings are more expensive, I do have an excellent source for them!
I do not have pierced ears, do you offer clip ons?
Unfortunately at this time, I do not offer clip on earrings. While I would LOVE to make this a regular option, I have yet to find clip on earring backs that are affordable, COMFORTABLE and will reliably keep earrings on the lobes without falling off. However, some styles may be made with neodymium magnets which you would use with another magnet on the back of your ear lobe to keep them on. This option is good for my larger styles where a regular clip on wouldn't be sufficient at keeping them on securely.
I have gauges in my lobes, do you offer anything for gauged ear lobes?
What many people do is ask for a lever back earring wire instead of a traditional french hook. I do not typically use these types of findings on my earrings, however, I do have a limited amount of colors available. If you want a pair with one of these types of earring hooks instead, just send me an email or DM to inquire!
I saw a particular item in your booth once but don't see it again, is it still available?
Some items are limited release and once they sell through, they aren't going to be returning. This is often the case for things such as patches and enamel pins where I only designed to have a particular amount of made for a limited run. For most things such as the handmade jewelry, chances are even if I don't currently have it displayed in my booth, I can probably make another upon request!
