Release the bats!
Did you know there are 1,500 species of bats worldwide? That makes bats the 2nd most diverse order of mammals (after rodents), and account for 1/5 of all mammal species!
I truly love bats! But my absolute favorite are megabats! There are 65 different recognized species of megabats, also known as fruit bats or flying foxes. Some have a wing span of over 5 feet! Other than their large wing span, they are characterized by their large eyes and long snouts and noses that resemble little foxes.
These dangle earrings pay tribute to my favorite bat and measure 1.8" wide, 3.7" long and each pair contains 18 individually laser cut and hand assembled pieces. Bronze, dark grey and amber colored mirrored acrylic with laser engraved and hand painted details and to complete the look, dark grey flat back crystals for the eyes!
